Climate change does not affect every neighborhood equally. Some communities face more heat, flooding, pollution, poor air quality, or limited access to parks and healthy infrastructure. Climate justice means the people most affected should help shape the solutions and share in the benefits.
No. A strong team may need researchers, artists, storytellers, organizers, designers, presenters, makers, data thinkers, and technical builders. Each cohort will explain any specific requirements before enrollment.
AI may help participants organize ideas, explore research questions, compare options, or create early drafts. People remain responsible for checking facts, protecting private information, avoiding harmful bias, and making final decisions.
Core programs run for 4–6 weeks. Each week has a clear goal, and the experience ends with a finished participant deliverable plus a showcase or demo.
Depending on the program, participants may leave with a garment or accessory prototype, product story, research brief, solution mockup, toolkit, campaign, dashboard concept, impact plan, pitch, or public demo.
Yes. GAIA HIPH welcomes mission-aligned conversations with community organizations, schools, funders, companies, technology providers, venues, researchers, and city-facing institutions. A submitted form starts a conversation; it does not create an agreement.
