Fashion Fresh Apparel Lab

Circular Hip-Hop streetwear + sustainable creator product design.

What it is

Turn overlooked materials into style, story, and possibility.

Fashion Fresh is a 4–6 week hands-on lab where participants design reusable, repaired, recycled, or upcycled apparel and accessories.

The lab connects Hip-Hop style with circular design, material awareness, product storytelling, green entrepreneurship, and safe exploration of wearable-tech concepts.

The weekly flow

From material discovery to the final look.

  1. Learn

Understand climate, culture, waste, reuse, repair, and circular fashion.

  2. Design

Build mood boards, explore sourcing, and choose a focused concept.

  3. Make

Upcycle, reconstruct, test, and plan any wearable-tech feature safely.

  4. Brand

Develop product identity, story, audience, and sustainability language.

  5. Showcase

Present the final look, creative choices, lessons, and next step.

Safety + honest sustainability

Style should never hide risk or exaggerate impact.

Activities and materials are subject to instructor review, age-appropriate supervision, informed participation, and applicable safety guidance. Wearable-tech work remains conceptual or low-risk unless qualified supervision and appropriate equipment are confirmed. Sustainability statements must describe real design choices without implying unsupported environmental benefits.
